DescriptionThe American Jewish Committee's Houston Chapter is an advocacy group for Israel and human rights around the world. The Committee is also involved in improving the quality of life of Jews and the Houston community. AJC manages the Engaging America Program, which trains people who want to become domestic diplomats and represent Jewish concerns. Other programs supported by AJC include many interreligious and interethnic programs to help strengthen cooperation and friendship between the Jewish community and other ethnicities and religions.
