City of Houston

Consular Corps
Houston plays an ever-increasing role in the global economy and is home to 94 foreign consulates. They represent their countries in trade, commerce, and cultural activities and may also issue visas and renew passports. Learn more about the consulates and the countries they represent.

Sister Cities
Sister Cities of Houston is an umbrella organization made up of the city’s seventeen sister city associations. Each association is a community-based, volunteer organization that fosters and implements commercial, cultural, educational and humanitarian exchange between the two cities.
